The Ariel School UFO incident occurred on the morning of 16 September 1994 at the Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, approximately 20 kilometers from Harare. During the morning recess, 62 children aged 6 to 12 reported observing one or more silver disc-shaped objects landed in the field beyond the schoolyard, and one or more small humanoid beings standing near the craft. Children's drawings produced immediately after the incident showed remarkably consistent features. Harvard Medical School psychiatrist Dr. John Mack flew to Zimbabwe and conducted independent interviews with the children, concluding that the witnesses showed no signs of fabrication. The incident is one of the most-cited multi-witness child-witness UFO cases on record. It is not part of PURSUE Release 01 (which is U.S. government records only) but is routinely referenced in international UFO research.
