What did the senior U.S. intelligence officer see from a helicopter in 2025?
“We were virtually speechless after these observations.”
PURSUE Release 02 includes a first-person USPER narrative (ODNI-UAP-D001, catalog entry DOC-142) written by a senior U.S. Intelligence Community official describing a late-2025 helicopter encounter on a Western United States test range. After radar detected hits up-range from the witness's position, the helicopter intercepted a 'super-hot' Forward-Looking Infrared (FLIR) target that, according to the ground team, rose from the ground, approached within 10 feet of the helicopter, dropped, split into two, and accelerated away. Later, at 700 feet AGL, the witness and pilots observed two large oval orange orbs flare up beside the rotor disk, joined by additional orbs in a 'T' formation. When fighter jets entered the airspace, similar orbs appeared above them at approximately 2,300 feet AGL, matching the jets' speed in horizontal formation. The narrative contains zero redactions.
